How It Works

Simple process.
Professional result.

No labs. No confusing portals. Send me your recipe and I take it from there.

01
Send your recipe
Email your ingredient list with weights or percentages, serving size, and servings per container. No special format — a handwritten list, a batch formula, or a spreadsheet all work.
02
I calculate & build
I run the nutritional analysis using professional databases, calculate daily value percentages, and build your FDA Nutrition Facts format (2016 final rule) label — compliant down to the font size and border weight.
03
Review & refine
I send you a draft. We go through revisions until it's exactly right. If something could be improved — serving size, allergen wording, reformulation — I'll tell you honestly.
04
Files delivered
PDF + PNG delivered to your inbox, ready for packaging or retail submission. Your labels are archived — if your computer crashes, email me and I'll resend everything.

Who I Work With

Every type of food business, every stage of growth.

From someone selling jam at a farmers market to a brand distributing across four major retailers — the compliance need is real at every level.

Retail CPG Brands
Multi-retail distribution
I've worked with brands distributed across HEB, Specs, Walmart, and Brookshire Brothers — including products distributed under a private retailer label. Multi-SKU projects, tight deadlines, and retailer-specific label requirements are my normal.
Retail Ready Package · Compliance Kit
Cottage Food Makers
Home kitchen to market
If you're making a product in your home kitchen and selling at farmers markets, local shops, or online — you need a compliant label before you scale. I work with individuals at this stage often and know exactly what Texas cottage food law requires and where the lines are.

Caterers & Food Service
Menus that change
Catering companies and meal prep businesses have rotating menus, seasonal dishes, and ingredient changes that make label management ongoing. I maintain your label library so you always have what you need when a client or venue asks for it.
Label Management Retainer
MEAL PLAN & MEAL PREP
Ready-to-eat & delivery
Meal prep businesses and delivery services often need labels for individual portions, weekly rotating menus, or packaged ready-to-eat items. I handle the per-meal labeling so you can focus on the food and the customers.

About Mad Method

Learned in a Houston kitchen.
Built for shelves.

Mad Method started in a Houston kitchen that ran personalized weekly meal plans alongside a line of prepackaged meals. Clients came in for one-on-one consults. The work covered their goals, dietary protocol, portion sizes, allergens and restrictions, and how much of the week they wanted prepped. A rotating menu kept any two orders from coming out the same. The kitchen turned the paperwork into food. Clients picked up once or twice a week with a full breakdown of every meal in the order.

The kitchen shared a wall with a bakery. The bakery needed nutrition information for its products. The work grew from cookies to nuts to a private label cracker line manufactured for Buc-ee's, with regulatory review handled by the retailer's compliance team. That stretch was an apprenticeship in FDA labeling the way the food industry actually does it. Shoulder to shoulder with a manufacturer, with product hitting shelves the next quarter. That account is still active.

The client list grew from there. A Houston catering company with a rotating menu of meals and snacks. A cookie producer operating out of a home kitchen, asking the kind of reformulation question that turns into a real product decision. A spice and marinade producer with multiple SKUs. A retail cracker brand now on shelves at HEB, Specs, Walmart, Brookshire Brothers, and Buc-ee's. Mutual non-disclosure agreements where the recipe is the asset. Standing label libraries that hold up when a client's hard drive fails, because every file is archived on Mad Method's end too.

The same standard runs through all of it. 21 CFR 101 compliance. Allergen statements that pass FALCPA. Calculation that runs on USDA FoodData Central and Mad Method's own ingredient databases for items federal sources don't cover. Every label, every client.
